Safety Space ("we", "us") provides workplace health and safety software to customer organisations. This statement covers our website (safetyspace.co) and the Safety Space mobile app.

Website visitors

We collect personal information you choose to give us — such as your name and contact information — when you enquire about our products. We use it to respond to you and to market our products.

Mobile app users

The Safety Space app is used by workers of our customer organisations. Each organisation runs its own Safety Space instance, which stores its workers’ data.

Information the app handles

• Account information — your name, email address and role, created for you by your organisation.
• Safety records you create — incident reports, inspection responses, form submissions, induction records, toolbox talks and similar records, including any photos you attach and text you dictate.
• Technical information — basic device and app version information used to keep the app working and diagnose problems.

The app does not collect your precise location, contacts or advertising identifiers, and contains no advertising.

How your information is used

Your information is used solely to provide your organisation’s health and safety management system: recording, syncing and displaying safety records. Your records are stored on your organisation’s own Safety Space instance and are accessible to your organisation according to its own policies. We do not sell your information or share it with third parties for marketing.

Offline storage

To support offline use, the app stores a copy of your records and login session on your device. This data is removed when you log out or switch workspaces.

Data retention and access

Your organisation controls its Safety Space instance, including retention and deletion of safety records. For questions about your data held by your organisation, contact your organisation’s administrator.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. If you’d like to ask for a copy of your information, or to have it corrected, please contact us at info@safetyspace.co.
